Thomas Vermaelen said that it was important for the team to win the game after Juventus have beaten Genoa. He said that the win allows Roma to stay within touch of Juventus and protect their chances of winning the title. He admitted that Juventus has the better squad but that he believes that Roma can also win the Serie A.
